Stratosphere Tower SkyJump Las Vegas-Throwback

Prepare to laugh your ass off!

I have been going to Las Vegas on and off for the past three years. It’s one of those places I have a love/hate relationship with. In 2016, I went three times within a few months. On one of my trips I was told you could jump off the Stratosphere which is one of many hotels/attractions on the 4.2 mile long strip. Oh, and it’s 829 feet in height. What is your first thought when you think of people jumping off a 829 feet building? My first thought when I heard this was “yeah f@#$ing right. People are crazy!!”.  For me, all it took was two more Las Vegas trips, a tequila shot, and a team of people to cheer me on at the bottom to become one of those crazy people. I can officially say I have participated in the ‘Stratosphere Tower SkyJump Las Vegas’.

I was so pumped that I chose to purchase a package where I could wear a GoPro on my wrist as I fell.  On this day, everything about my attitude was fearless and full of excitement. I couldn’t wait to brag to my family about my cool GoPro video of the city lights that would surround me as I fell from the sky. As if by magic, fear kicked in and I swear I almost shit myself on the elevator ride to the top. Now this video is the laughing joke of my family. If you are having a bad day, I hope this makes you smile. Enjoy laughing with me!

Fun fact: I am terrified of heights! The entire elevator ride to the top I was rambling like a buffoon like I am in this video.

This is incredible. I remember when I ate the the Stratosphere restaurant, I’d see people jumping off as the restaurant rotated.

Thank you! I’ve never been there for the restaurant but I can only imagine what a fun experience that would be too. I’m pretty sure they have other rides at the top as well which look terrifying to me !
