My Favorite Breakfasts


For those of you who don't know, my favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I could eat breakfast for every meal, every single day and would NEVER get sick of it. I find breakfast foods very comforting. It's also really hard for my appetite to be spoiled so I can rotate through sweet/savory breakfast options endlessly.


I've recently been on a kick with rotating the same breakfasts, unintentionally. I follow intuitive eating, so I eat what I'm in the mood for and I just so happen to have realized that I've been gravitating back to the same five eats for a while. Are you stumped on what to eat for breakfast? This gal has you covered!

1. OATMEAL

My favorite mix-ins:

- Brown Sugar (ALWAYS) - Bananas - Pecans - Apples (chopped) - Walnuts

- Peanut Butter (instead of Brown Sugar when I need protein)

- Honey (for when I run out of Brown Sugar)


2. GREEN PEANUT BUTTER BANANA SMOOTHIE

Recipe:

- (1) Cup of Spinach (chop into small pieces)

- (1) Banana

- (1) Almond Milk (or whatever kind of milk you drink)

- As much peanut butter as you like (I put loads in)

- (1) cup of ice


3. YOGURT/GRANOLA BOWL

My favorite yogurts:

- FAGE Total 0% Milkfat Plain Greek Yogurt

- Siggi's Plant-based Coconut Blend Yogurt (I try to stay away from flavors because of the added sugar, but my favorite flavors are vanilla or any berry)

- Chobani Greek Yogurt Non-Fat Plain

- Trader Joe's Greek Nonfat Yogurt Plain

My favorite add-in's (mix/match & have fun with it):

- Honey

- Peanut butter (I'm obsessed with Justin's Honey Peanut butter)

- Blueberries

- Almonds

- Granola (I don't have a favorite brand of granola, I buy something my taste buds are in the mood for)

- Strawberries

- Bananas

- Apples


4. GREEN PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE (This smoothie is light/fresh. It's not enough on its own so I'll eat something else along with it)

Recipe:

- (1) Cup of Spinach (chop into small pieces)

- (1) Banana (for thickening)

- (1) Cup of Water

- (1) Cup of Frozen Pineapple


5. PANCAKES

My favorite pancake mixes:
